About Gloria Jean

Gloria is known for her deep knowledge of child and adolescent development and extensive experience in counseling. She has nearly thirty years experience at all levels in the K-12 setting as a counselor and district director. She extended into higher education as an instructor for the School of Education at SAGE Colleges in Troy, NY, and, currently, for the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.  After retiring from public schools, she focused on providing professional development as an independent consultant. She developed and provided professional development through the NYS School Counseling Association in support of this revised regulation: CHAMP CAMP, CHAMP CAMP 2.0 and CHAMP CAMP Express. She has served in several positions, elected and appointed, on the executive boards of the Capital District Counseling Association and the New York State School Counselor Association.
